I was talking yesterday with a friend of mine from
California. One of the subjects was the weather. While I am experiencing minus
degrees he is enjoying all year round almost the same temperatures. He doesn’t
have for example to change he tires from winter tires to summer tires; he
doesn’t have to heat its house at least 4-5 month per year, wear/own different
clothes according to the season (winter, summer, autumn or spring). So its invoices for utilities are lower than
of those who live in a temperate climate.
I thing that living in a Mediterranean climate gives you a
lot of satisfaction, you do not have to
worry about many things, it is a stable life,
the business can function properly. For example in a country or area
where snows a lot the transport will be affected, constructions and the list
can continue.
This doesn’t mean that a nation or people can’t exist or
prosper well in a climate that varies a lot. The best examples are the
Scandinavian counties which are very developed.
What I was trying to say is that living in Mediterranean
climate is more relaxing. Of course this is only my opinion.
